Choir Banquet on May 3rd
Ticket sales are strong with 98 tickets sold, close to last year’s attendance of 120. A final marketing push is planned before sales close on April 26th, including daily reminder emails and website updates to encourage last-minute purchases.
Setup Logistics: Venue doors at St. Matthews open at 4 PM for setup, with about an hour and a half to arrange tables, chairs, and decorations. The choir council and board members will assist with setup and guest check-in. Senior council members are exempted from setup duties, with underclassmen and junior officers leading.
Dinner Menu: The banquet will serve a pasta dinner featuring gluten-free options, chicken, cream and marinara sauces, garlic bread, and salads. Instead of traditional brownies and cookies, Caprimo miniature cupcakes in various flavors, including gluten-free, will be served. Attendees may bring additional desserts to supplement the menu.
Voices of Broadway on May 14th & 15th
Flyers and posters will be distributed to local schools, churches, and businesses to boost concert attendance.
Seniors receive four free tickets each, with the first three rows reserved for seniors at the May 15th concert.
Tickets have been on sale for over two weeks via the choir website and links can be found on Instagram, email campaigns, and the website calendar. Tickets may be purchased at the door, if available.
Parent volunteers will manage ticket sales, door monitoring, and concession stands. Non-choir volunteers, such as theater students, will monitor door entry to prevent disruptions during performances. Sign-up geniuses will be sent to organize volunteer roles and meal purchasing support.
Choir uniforms should be turned in no later than May 8th
Website and Marketing Improvements
A news blog on the choir website will centralize updates and reduce email overload. Website content is being standardized, and photo-sharing tools are being explored to encourage candid event photography.
