David Beussman is currently in his 16th year as Choir Director at Anderson High School. Prior to his current position, he taught middle school choir in the Austin ISD for 12 years (9 of those at Murchison). He received his Bachelor of Music Degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA where he was a member of the Nordic Choir for three years and studied under Weston Noble.
 

David is a member of ACDA, TMEA and TCDA. David most recently was given the title of AISD Facilitator for High School Choir and is once again the tenor section leader at Lakeway Church in Lakeway, TX.

 

He has four beautiful daughters. His oldest just started a research and development position at Crown Industries in Johnson City, TN while his other adult daughter works in human resources for Bell Flight in Fort Worth. Meanwhile, he also has a daughter in fourth grade as well as a one in kindergarten. He also just celebrated the 12-year anniversary of being married to the love of his life.
