AHS Choir Congrats & Friendsgiving!

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick reminder that our Choir Friendsgiving Social is happening tomorrow (Monday, Nov. 17th) from 6:30-8ishpm in the Choir room! This is a low-key, fun time for students to hang out, enjoy some food and build community within our choir. Students are allowed to bring one AHS friend to tag along, but every choir member attending must bring something to share! Each class was assigned various items to bring. Trojan Blue: Beverages and/or , Trojan Gold: Sides, Varsity Voce: Desserts, Chorale: Main Dishes. It'll be a good time! Hope to see you there!

Additionally, we had FOUR students who auditioned this weekend in another round for the Texas All-State Choir. I'm proud to say, we had one qualifier, and two alternates for the final round. Shout out to Ian Lum who made 4th chair, qualifying for Area, and Kayla Joplin and Zoe Taylor, who will also attend as alternates in January! I am proud of everyone that has auditioned so far. Way to represent the AHS Choir!
