Choir Placements for 2022-2023 I LOVED hearing students sing for placements this year. There’s still plenty time for other students who aren’t currently in choir BUT SHOULD BE to contact me to join the Anderson Choir program. Placements for next year’s choirs will be announced after Finals. 3. Choir Optional Event at Main Event – Saturday, April 23 from 1-4pm Come play games, eat some food, or just hang out with choir friends. This is not required, but a time for our current choir students to have some fun outside of the choir room. I will be there, but this is not an organized event. Nothing is being pre-purchased for the choir. Purchase what you want to participate in with friends when you arrive. Come say hi when you enter. I’ll be at a table near the entrance. Then go play and have fun for a few hours doing whatever activities you choose. Activities available at Main Event: Mini Golf, Games, Billiards, Laser Tag, Bowling, Virtual Reality, Story Rooms, Karaoke, Gravity Ropes, and Multi-ball. 4 Choir Auditions for Madrigal Singers Any current 9th, 10th or 11th grade choir student may audition to be in this additional choir. Madrigals meet during Zero hour (before school) multiple days a week. Auditions will be done during lunches the final week of April. Students will sing a 30 second – 1 minute cut of a song of their choice to demonstrate facial expression and vocal flexibility. They will also sing one page of their part of a madrigal with other parts sung at the same time. Madrigal music will be made available one week in advance. It is in the choir room. Auditions will happen April 26-27 during lunch. 5.
