Musical: many of our choir students auditioned for and received lead roles and chorus roles in the musical “Zombie Prom” that Anderson willing be putting on January 20-23! 2. Thank you! Parents: There were so many of you who have stepped up to help with Pre-Area auditions, concert tickets, backstage assistance, door monitoring, uniforms, food donations and now as we’re asking for drivers for caroling night. You help make all of these events run smoothly. I appreciate the extra time and effort and so do the students! Students: Thank you to those of you who helped with Pre-Area auditions. It really does take a large group of us to make this contest run efficiently. 3. Winter Choir Concert – REQUIRED of ALL students – Thursday, Dec 9 – 7pm – Westover Hills Church: Our Winter Concert will once again be with the Murchison choirs. We plan to take our choir formal pictures that evening just prior to the concert as well. Please make sure that students have appropriate black dress shoes to wear with their uniform for this and all other concerts throughout the year. Boys: black dress shoes and black socks – NOT tennis shoes Girls: black closed toe flats or maximum 2 inch heal pump. I’m asking that every student bring in canned food during this week – all must be received by Friday, Dec. 10. Student can also bring canned goods to the Tyler home the night of caroling. We will donate these to area food banks. Please contribute what you can. This event can’t happen without both student singers and parent drivers.
